The MBR624GU is designed to be used in conjunction with a 3G Wireless Broadband modem to allow you to connect multiple computers to the Internet. When you plug your 3G modem into this device the internet traffic is routed to nearby computers by both cable and local wireless.

- All prices on this page include GST.
- You may change plans throughout your contract for the following billing cycle.
- Unused usage cannot be rolled over to the following month.
- Data usage is calculated for both downloads and uploads.
- Data usage will be counted in megabytes where 1 Megabyte (MB) = 1000 Kilobytes (KB).
- After the initial contract has expired the service will be continued month by month until cancelled.
- 30 days notice of cancellation is required in writing.
- Customers in Rural / Regional areas should select the Huawei E169 modem as they may experience problems with reception with the E220.
- Early disconnection fees apply ($300 pro-rata for Spin 3G Wireless, $149 pro-rata for Spin Telephony). For example, if you cancel your Wireless contract 9 months into a 12 month contract you may have to pay a termination fee of $300 x 3/12 (where 3 is the number of months left to run on the contract), divided by 12 months = $75. A similar calculation would be used for telephone early cancellation.
- If you cancel the Service before the minimum Term ends, you must pay back any discounts or special offers you received to sign up for that Term.
- Plan downgrades incur a $150 fee. However plan upgrades are free.
- Due to the nature of wireless, coverage, speed and consistent uptime of the service cannot be guaranteed.
- The speeds available to a particular 3G Wireless customer are affected by many factors, actual speed rates are not guaranteed and real world speed results may vary and may be slower. With any network based on radio technology, local conditions may prevent or interfere with mobile reception within coverage areas - e.g., inside concrete buildings, lift wells, basements, tunnels and road cuttings. High rise buildings may also suffer degradation of service and our coverage maps are not an indication of in-building coverage. There are several factors that may affect speeds such as distance from the mobile phone tower, the capacity and load on the mobile phone tower, the network currently in selection (GSM, 3G/HSPA), your hardware and software, the source of your download/upload, and general internet traffic. The service is furthermore subject to network availability.
- No Modem includes the SIM Activation Fee.
- SMS messages are charged per 160 characters and per message at $0.25 each on all plans.
- International SMS are charged at 75c each per message and per 160 characters.
- Premium SMS are charged at their advertised rate.
- If, in the unfortunate event your 3G SIM card is lost or stolen, there is a $59.95 (SIM activation) + $5 (postage) replacement fee. A new 6 month minimum term is applied to your account which is in addition to your existing contract.
- If, in the unfortunate event your 3G Modem (including SIM Card) is lost or stolen, there is a $229.00 (3G modem and 3G SIM card including activation) + $15 (postage) replacement fee. A new 6 month minimum term is applied to your account which is in addition to your existing contract.
- Please note, your first month of usage is on a pro-rata basis depending on when you are connected. i.e. If you connect on the 25th of the month (on a month which has 30 days), you will only be allocated 5 days worth of usage for that first month (until it aligns with the billing cycle). For instance, if you were on a 1GB plan and signed up on the 25th of a 30 day month, you would be allocated 1000 / 30 * 5 = 167MB of usage.
- 3G Modems purchased through us are covered by a 12 month back-to-base replacement warranty.
- An annual mobile number levy is applied and determined by the ACMA. As of 2008, the cost of such a levy is $0.891 (inclusive of GST). This fee will be added to your account as a once off fee per year whilst your service is active with us.
- You may not change from a Contract Plan to a No Contract. However, you can choose to upgrade to a Contract Plan if you are on a No Contract. If a customer wishes to move from a No Contract Plan to a Contracted Plan and the contract chosen is less than 24 months, they must pay an additional $59.95 activation fee.
